Pre-Wedding

How does it work?

·         Request a Wedding Gift Registry via email to info@celestialgifts.co.za  

·         We will then email you our comprehensive product list.

·         Select the items of your preference and either fax or email by return.

·         We will also need to the following information –

·         Full Names of the Bride & Groom

·         Date of Wedding

·         Contact numbers

·         Any special requests

·         Total announcement cards required (see detail further down)

·         We will register a CGE User Account in your name and upload your Wedding Gift Registry.

·         Either yourself or Celestial Gift Experiences can then email all your wedding party guests to notify them of your unique activity Wedding Gift Registry.  Guests will also receive announcement cards in their wedding invitations, which include all the relevant details.  Those guests, who are not comfortable in using the internet, may contact us directly so that we can process a manual order on their behalf.

·         A client purchase gifts online or via phone and Celestial Gift Experiences manages the Wedding Gift Registry thereafter.  Items purchased will be tagged appropriately i.e. available or purchased.

Announcement Cards

On request from yourself, Celestial Gift Experiences will provide you with the appropriate number of announcement cards to include with your invitations when you distribute them.  This will inform your guests where your wedding registry has been set up and the unique reference ID of your registry. Announcement cards are charged at R2.00 each and have space for you to include the names of the bride and groom as well as the reference associated with your registry.  Using either your registered email address or unique reference, guests can either purchase gifts online, via fax, email or telephone (this process assists those guests travelling from abroad and elsewhere in South Africa). The announcement card also includes our contact details so that your guests can call us should they have any questions. Guests have the option of taking the Experience Gift Vouchers with them to give to you at your wedding, or leaving them with us for delivery to you at your convenience.

Post-Wedding

Your Experience Gift Vouchers will be beautifully presented and delivered to your home on the day of your choice. Some couples prefer this to be done closer to the date of the wedding, others after the honeymoon – the choice is yours. All Wedding Gift Registry clients benefit from free courier delivery if they live in Cape Town.  If you live outside of Cape Town you will be advised of the relevant charge, for which payment will be requested. Your gifts will be delivered with a comprehensive list of who each gift is from and the respective addresses of the guests who made use of our services. This will facilitate you in the writing of your Thank You cards.  Celestial Gift Experiences are innovative, convenient and sophisticated.
