Experience the ultimate - learn the basics of the fine art of making sushi. Fumbling fingers will soon become well practised, empowering you with the confidence to throw your very own sushi evening to impress all your friends. From sashimi, soy sauce and wasabi to chopsticks and raw fish....... this course will have you in the "know" of all the Japanese Sushi terminology in no time.
Course programme -
- Cutting fish
- Making rice
- The basics of sushi making - California and maki rolls, nigirizushi (finger sushi) and hand rolls.
Classes are hands-on. Everyone participates in the preparation of the dishes. Join in the fun and not only learn new skills, but meet new people with similar interests.
Your class will run as follows -
Introduction to the preparation of all the dishes to be cooked.
The class is divided into groups and each student gets involved in preparing the various dishes.
At the end of the class, participants sit down together and enjoy the food that they have prepared.
This experience includes - expert instruction, all ingredients and meal, sushi mat and beverages (soft drinks, house wines, tea, coffee and juice).
Take only your enthusiasm and willingness to learn. It is important to note that the course programme may change from time to time and the programme information above is meant purely as a guide.

Courses take place once every two months. Book well in advance.

This experience is for two and forms part of a group lesson. Minimum numbers apply.
What to take:
Aprons are provided. Be ready to get your hands dirty! Dress comfortably, wear closed flat shoes, preferably non-slip trainers.
